Hyacinth Quilt

It's a girl! The quilt is purple!

Name: Alexa's Quilt
Design: Whole cloth quilt
Quilting: FMQ with loops on my home machine
Size: about 42"x52"

A super simple quilt that was a joy to make. Each side is a single 1.5 yards cut. The letters are fused and have hand embroidered edges. I loved the variegated thread I used for the quilting, it's been in my stash for years: Gutterman 100% cotton

Slouchy Red Hat

A fun and quick knit

Pattern name: Barley Hat by tincanknits

Size: medium

Needles Used: US 6/8

Yarn: Madelinetosh Vintage, Tart

Not sure I like the slouchyness, but the pattern is great. I hope to make it again, maybe a size large with a shorter length.

Wonky Bees

A silly quilt for a new little boy! He is so welcomed by his family. And me too!

Name: Wonky Bees
Design: Wonky log cabins
Quilting: FMQ with loops on my home machine
Size: about 42" square, did not get it washed yet

I did you some mad hand embroidery skills I learned from Casey York at Quiltcon 2015. My machine did not really like quilting over the thicker edging.

One done, many more projects to go!
